Grower and Farmher, Cass & Erin, celebrated their marriage in 2016 with the theme of Two Families, Two Farms and Two Festivities. The festivities celebrated both their families and farms. A formal celebration in PA on Erin’s home farm was followed up by a harvest celebration on the cranberry bogs with a traditional New England Clam Bake in the 1940s screen house aka The Barn on Benson’s Pond.
It was from this celebration that an idea was born, why not share the harvest and barn experience with others; thus we are offering the barn for celebrations & special events starting in summer 2018 seasonally available through November. Additionally the public is welcome to take in the harvest with our “Bogger for the Day” and Bogside BBQs events. 2018 Dates to come!
Bogger for the Day will provide small groups the opportunity to put on waders and test out their skills as a cranberry bogger! You can expect your experience to be one-of-a-kind! We think it will be a bucket list kind of day! Head over to Bensonspond.com to learn more!
Bogside BBQs – Bogside Acres is looking forward to teaming up with local chefs and offering our guests a meal highlighting our beef, pork and chicken alongside our farm fresh and other locally sourced veggies all while experiencing the view of the bogs and all the nature that resides there.
